Thanks.....

Hi there, seems a while that I have posted, being school holidays here in Australia there has been lots to do that take me away from my craft room...
Today's card is a pretty CAS - one layer card to restock my card supply for those emergencies that you need a card quickly for. I can also use this card as a card to give to a loved one..
I  used the fabulous NEW stamps that arrived on my doorstep recently from STAMPlorations called-

I stamped the images in London Fog Memento Ink and then gave some depth and contrast by colouring with my Cool Grey Copic Markers over the stamped images, The sentiment was stamped in Tuxedo Black.
I found a few Challenges to enter-

One Layer Simplicity Challenge- Re-Stocking the Shelves.

Stamplorations- Sketch #4

Hi there, over at the Stamplorations Blog we have another fun sketch for you to follow.
I used the gorgeous Vignette Artful Flutters.. I just love the text on these butterflies and the sentiments that come with the set.
I only slightly changed the way I interpreted the sketch to suit my design of my card. I used a stencil with a soft pink ink for my squares and  stamped the leaf under the butterflies. The sentiment is stamped on vellum.
Pop on over to the STAMPlorations blog to see the other girls take on the sketch and we hope you get inspired to play along...

be thankful....

Hi there, todays card features VIGNETTE RETRO MOD SHAPES from STAMPlorations.
I have been wanting to try my hand at a geometrical inspired card and when I saw the shapes on this fab set of stamps just new I had found the stamps to play with.. I used 2 different shades of  grey Memento Ink to stamp with and then added 3 die cut  hearts, kindy coloured with Copic Markers 100 and R89 along with a sentiment.
( for some reason  it looks like the black frame is way out of shape but that's not the case at all in  RL-  dont know why it is showing like this..i will blame the camera, lol...)

Would you like the chance to win these goodies...

Stamplorations - Monthly Challenge #3

Hi there, today is an exciting day as it's my first post as a Design Team member for STAMPlorations!
This months challenge over at the Stamplorations Blog is all about..
STAMPS and FEATHERS.
I used the Holiday Artsy Clear Stamp Set.
This is such a great stamp set- you can create so many fabulous backgrounds for your cards.

The larger solid dots on my card  was made by reversing / flipping over the circle stamps and stamping the back of the acrylic stamp  with ink first. I then turned the stamp over to the right / correct side of the stamp and stamped again over the larger inked circles..   I drew in stitching lines with a black pen around some and used the end of a pencil with a rubber to stamp in a few little extra dots. The sentiment on vellum and embossed with White is also part of the stamp set..
The feathers are MFT dies.
Pop on over to the blog to see my new DT teamies wonderful creative makes. Hope to see you playing along with the challenge as you could get the chance to win to fabulous stamps sets.
