STAMPlorations-#5 Inspiration Round up

Hey There, rounding out the month of February with a card for STAMPlorations using the gorgeous...
I embossed the daisy with white embossing powder and then did quite a heavy colouring of Distress Inks plus I flicked a small amount of water to give a splatter look on the background card.
I then used a water brush filled with water to remove the colour from inside the Daisy's.
This take a little while to do as you cant apply to much water  all you may remove the background colour as well if it seeps thru.
You can check out the Inspiration Posts HERE and we invite you to CASE one of our cards and link it up to the Inspiration CASE Playground.

one and only...

Hi there, here is another card using  Bird Crazy Stamps from Tim Holtz.
This one just had to have a hat..., looks pretty dapper doesn't he!

Background is Dylusions Sprays and "Mr Bird" is coloured with Copics.
Sentiment Die is from MFT and teamed up with patterned paper from Kaiser.
It's always hard to find that perfect birthday card for a male and I think these birds have just right quirkiness to use.

I am entering  this card into the..
Seize the Birthday challenge with the extra topping - Masculine.
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenges - Anything Goes
Simplylessismore Challenge - Wings.

Purple Onion Designs

Hi there, weekend is here and we have some gorgeous weather in the West Aus to enjoy it with, although my fellow Aussies in Queensland have had cyclones and heavy rain.. Hope everyone is keeping safe and dry..
Today I used 2 stamps from....
  "Purple Onion Designs.
Peep & Doodle Frame - Heart
To give the card some softness I cut a piece of rectangle Vellum and placed over my card base. I used my sewing machine to add stitching to  my Copic coloured images main piece and after die cutting some hearts with vellum I then stitched them over the top.
I stamped my sentiment around the edge.

Now onto the background , this was a technique by Kristina Werner shown on the Online Card Class- clean and Simple. I used Distress Inks in 3 different shades of blues to give that ombre effect.. I love this technique and will definitely do a few more of these backgrounds...

CASEplorations...

Hi there, and welcome... Todays card is all about CASING..
On the 1st of each month the girls from STAMPlorations are having some crafty fun - Since we are going to be inspiring you to play with your stamps, CASEing our creations, we decided we should do some CASEing too. So on the first of every month you will see this feature, a CASEplorations post, where some of the STAMPlorations DT girls CASE a card and share it with you. You never know - it might even be your card we choose to CASE!

 **********************
 WHAT is CASING!!!
Ok, as explained to me recently by the gorgeous Maria F.."CASE"- literally - copy!!! although you don't have to follow exactly everything on the card.
Look at the card and notice the elements.
In Julie's card: cupcake, pink, lot of white, gold metallic thread, banner sentiment, black, splatters, doodles. And go with some of those elements or all of them... up to YOU!

Today is all about casing the amazing the JULIE EBERSOLE
of "Hello, Monday" fame over at the Ellen Hutson Classroom.

What I did, saw,cased........ I used the Pink, Gold and Black colour palette as Julie did on her card and left lots of white space...
Instead of gold twine I chose to use a Die Cut from Gold Card and
I used my favourite go too stamp from STAMPlorations---Sketched: Cupcake

Hope you enjoyed it. Check out the amazing CASE creations by our team, HERE
