The Fairytale that inspired me was a very old Disney Movie called "PETE's DRAGON and  I have used the song sung by Helen Reddy in the movie called "It's not easy"... for my sentitment...

This is the part in the movie where Elliot the dragon shares some apples with Pete in the orchard....

On my card I used the CAPRI MARCI and is available as both a rubber stamp and a digi-stamp, HERE and HERE

I coloured this image with my copics and inked Capri Marci up using the light pink Memento ink pad..I just love the softness you get when there is no heavy lines for the image. A little machine stitching around the edge and a Kaiser background stamp  for her to sit on. The sentiment is Tim Holtz.

oh happy day...

Todays challenge over at THE OCTOPODE FACTORY is the theme

*******ANIMALS*******

I used the Alice in Wonderland Doormouse and printed it out onto white Bazzil for something a little different, although it can be a bit tricky get a smooth blend but.... gotta gives things ago.

  The sentiment frame was made with "word" and I  used the spatter effect to create my background, finally finding a use for those Lyra crayons that have been sitting around in my cupboard for soooo long now.

I also used a little bit of washi tape, loving that stuff at the moment.

I also found a fun challenge over at Moxie Fab World that just so happens is The Spatter Week Challenge.

On my card I used the super sweet BEACH MARCI and she is available as both a rubber stamp and a digi-stamp, HERE and HERE.
I could not resist teaming her up with a Molly Blooms paddling pool stamp and the papers are Bo Bunny.I cut out the sun by hand and the bunting is made from Washi tape.

you should know....

Hi Everyone, hope your week has been a good one...my last couple of weeks have had its up and downs, had some good new from half of my family regarding Ryan ,Zoe and John and not so good new from the other half.... fingers crossed  next week is much better for my daughter Rhiannon and she will be told some good news and that things are all going according to plan! plus my little grandie, Ayce is also going into have an operation Wednesday week so that a bit of concern but I'm sure all will be good .

OK lets get onto the THE OCTOPODE FACTORY Challenge this week and the Theme that is

I used AUSTIN the WHIMSICAL CAT on my card and again kept it pretty simple as I really wanted Austin to be the focal part, he really is that stand out type of cat.

 A few hearts and key dies from Tim Holtz... would soooo love to see this guy when he comes to Melbourne but one of my BF, Sally is going to have a class with him as she is in Melbourne at the time so I am just going to have to live the experience thru her..mayb I could make myself into like a Flay Stanley and then Sally can put me in the photo with him, bahahahaha....

Another week flown by and being the 5th of the Month that can mean only one thing.. 

a new Bizzy Becs Challenge for May.

I used a Magnolia Stamp from the Prince and Princesses Collection along with a Magnolia cloud  and the leafy Doohickey Dies, a MTF Rose die, a Yo-Yo and Calico flower - made by me ,some lace, seam binding tape, Vintage photo D Ink, paper from local craft store Crafty Capers  and some other bits and bobs.....

a flower for you.....

It's  THE OCTOPODE FACTORY CHALLENGE  day and the theme for this week  is

****FLOWERS*****

Todays card was made using the 

 Daffodil Flower Set 

I printed this 3 times to get different sized flowers. The backgound paper is Washi tape and an Alcohol ink base  for the flowers to sit on.

 The butterfly is also Washi tape and put thru my punch and I finished my card with some twine.
