POD...oh happy day

Hi there, a little bit of distress ink colouring on my background was all I needed to showcase these cuties from...
"Cora and Thomas" - skating bunnies.
I coloured the bunnies with copic markers and fussy cut them out.
The sentiment.. " Oh Happy Day"  was embossed with white and then coloured using the same DI as the background.

Have you seen that there is a sale over at Purple Onion Designs..
Time to grab those stamps you have had your eye on...

Thanks For Stopping By and Have Yourself a Great Day.xxx

celebrating kindness

Hi there, today we are celebrating 10K followers for..
Julia Altermann from 'Just One More Card'

Julia creates the most fabulous cards as well as such useful and fabulous videos, sharing with us a wealth of information and colouring techniques.

Julia chose the topic of  "Celebrating Kindness",
because its about giving a BIG, BIG THANKYOU to everyone who has been so supportive over the past few years on Blogger/Wordpress and of course Instagram... this is to celebrate all the awesome people in our crafty community who are so generous with taking the time to comment, encourage, send cards and just be wonderful.

So on to my card...
I used a digital image from Bloobel Stamps called Boingy Rabbit.
I created the background using Altenew "Daisy" Stamp and Altenew Inks for the Background,
and I used an MFT Stitched Rectangle Die to cut it out.
The sentiment is from WPlus 9 and is called "That is All"
I coloured Boingy Rabbit with Copic Markers.

Lets us celebrate and share love and kindness to everyone no matter how different we are, but how our passion for all things crafty encourages us all.

Here is the blog list for you to hop along with...
Just One More Card ... Julia

I heat embossed the sentiment.. "You are so Wonderful" and then  used Distress inks to add colour.
I used SUMMER designed by Stacey Yacula.
I just stamped Summer and chose not to colour her in.
I just gave her a pretty bow for her hair for something different.

U rock..

Love this girl from unity stamps.. fabulous isn't she.
I coloured the image with copics.
To get the texture on the pants I colour these first b4 anything else.
I then use blender solution on a foam pad and pounce this onto a large rubber background stamp. ( I used MFT linen look stamp)
I then place the image face down and place an acrylic block on top for a few seconds.
This bleaches out the colour leaving a great texture/pattern. I found that rubber stamps work my ch better then acrylic/clear stamps.
If you do try this technique I would love to see your card.
