Purple Onion Designs..

Hi there, a wet and windy day here in Perth today so no better day then to spend some time in my craft room... I did a little water colouring with Distress Inks for my background, some Wendy Vecchi translucent paste thru a heart stencil, a few paint splatters and of course this super sweet adorable stamp from...
  "Purple Onion Designs called ROSIE.
Rosie would have to be one of my favourite stamps designed by Stacey Yacula, but then again I say that about all her stamps... I do love them all....

STAMPlorations Sketch #20

Hi there and welcome to STAMPlorations Sketch #20.
I actually stuck to sketch pretty much which is really good for me, lol...
I stamped the word Celebrate onto Acetate and attached this over the Happy Birthday strips that I previously had attached to my card with a little stitching. A few sequins was all it needed to finish the card.
DARNELL is joining us for sketch #20.

In a few weeks time here in West Australia we have the annual Perth Royal Show happening... so this was the inspiration for my card today- Rides- Fairy Floss, Show Bags, Ohhh... what fun it is...

Now, I haven't been to the show for the last 2 years and although admission has become quite the killer, my gorgeous grandkids are just a tad small yet to enjoy the experience- maybe next year will be the go.

I used my Peerless Watercolours to give a bit of colour to  LORETTA - Frantic Stamper Die.
Loretta is available from Bizzy Bec's Online Store.

I stamped the Ferris Wheel ( Lawn Fawn Stamp) in Memento London Fog Ink to give a softer line to for water colouring.

Purple Onion

Hi there....I popped into my local Craft Store today - Crafty Capers to pick up a few things and there were a few ladies doing a card class... So this is for the very lovely lady who said she follows and stops by my blog each day to see what I have made...she told me she loves purple onion stamps and now has purchased a few for herself - here's another stamp for your list if you don't already have it, lol...

I know it's a tad early to be making Christmas cards but I couldn't resist colouring up SANTA from The Sweetest Season by Stacey Yacula from  "Purple Onion Designs.
I used the BG Copic Markers for something different for Santa's coat and my warm and cool greys for the fur. Background was created using gesso, a stencil and glitter.
