Hi Everyone I hope everyone is getting everything done and not too rushed for Xmas. So to all my fellow crafters and friends I hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Wonderful New year.
Was I excited on Friday as my So Jolly Magnolia Christmas Stamps arrived by some what SLOW post,or is that SNAIL post.....I had already made and stamped my background for the card and have just been waiting to add Tilda or Edwin.
Well I finally made my first Christmas Card. I have started a bit late this year so I may not get all I wanted to make done on time. I love this Tilda as she really looks like she is waiting for Santa to come.
Well another busy week has just about gone by, cant believe how quick the time has gone. I think u can see where i was coming from with this card, I concentrated on the 60's era as I wanted to tie everything in with Tilda and her lolipop.
*HELLO* I hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend. My card today is card for my daughter , Rhiannon and her fiance, John. I just thought I would make this card to give them as we have been so busy organizing things for her wedding in January.
Wedding invites have gone out, Yes I made them!!!!still need to do place settings and other little things, but its all coming together nicely. On Friday we went to have her dress alterations done - well resizing and taking in and will pick it up in 4 weeks time.- Yes, she has dropped down a whole dress size and she was tiny already- Must give her my chocolate bars to eat!!!!The amount of things that need to be done are amazing, but as she is my only daughter- and such a gorgeous girl, I have to say being so involved is wonderful.
Welcome to this Fortnight's theme " Trick or Treat" "MDUC. Halloween - I sometimes wish we celebrated it big here in OZ as I would love the chance to decorate my house and buy all that fun stuff that goes along with it. But alas, I will just have to celebrate it thru cards.
Have a Great Day, Hugs!
I really don't do enough Male cards and I think that's because I always want to add that pretty girly bling to the card but when you look at Chef Edwin, who could resist. I think this might be a good card for all those young men moving out of home for the first time and having to cook for themselves.
I really need to start making more cards with Edwin. I think he is a cutie and there is some great stamps with him but for some reason he is always the last to come out on my table.LOL So here is .....He sorta reminds me of my son Ryan,- minus the glasses and college look , who as I mentioned earlier was down for a months Tafe recently and always go back up Newman (West Australia- Pilbara) with far more clothes then what he brings down and its always a worry whether he will exceed the baggage amount!!!!Boys! gotta love em.
Isn't this Elephant soooooo adorable. I just got this stamp recently and couldn't wait to play with her. I brayered the background, stamped a fern , a few layers of cardstock and a little ribbon and card all done. The elephant of course was coloured with my copics.
Good morning Ladies- This card was made when I was having one of those days when all you feel your doing is washing, cleaning, cooking- a day I'm sure you can all relate to !!!I have just had my son Ryan home for 1 months Tafe- he lives and works in the far North Pilbara Region of W.A. as A Refrigeration Mechanic and even though I love it to bits when he comes home -I forget each time the extra work I need to do!
My card today is a birthday card for a male., I made this card quite earlier on when I only owned a few of the Magnolia Stamps as well as only a few copic pens and just starting to become addicted!!!!!!
Enjoy your day!
