Joy to the world...

Hi There Everyone, just sharing a simple card using Memory Box Dies Typewriter Lower Alphabet Set and Precious Snowflakes and to let you know about this months challenge over at Bizzy Becs Challenge Blog.  the theme being Christmas!

I cut the letters J and Y from Silver glitter paper and used the smaller of the Precious Snowflakes Die cutting out 2 to use as my letter "0"

Yes you guessed it... Distress Inks Evergreen Bough and Iced Spruce and a Tim Holtz Stencil and modeling paste was used for background paper.

Yes, I can see your wondering about the pink... well I based my tree on the Photo colours and just had to have  Summer Yumi in Pink because she just looked to cute not too, lol...and I just had to give Summer a Santa Hat to wear as well...

Seasons Greetings...

Hello there, just sharing another Christmas Card... I wish you could see how much sparkle this card has in RL.

 I used Ultra fine glitter, Sticker Leaf Outline and Jac paper  and then coloured/dotted over the glitter with my Copic Markers...

Background is Distress Inks - Wild Honey,Pumice Stone and Peeled Paint , Acrylic Block and Water and stamped with a Script Stamp.

A little more stamping as in Sentiment, Stars and Spots, Sequins and Washi Tape to finish it off.

Inspiration Monday- Pink Christmas..

Hi fellow Crafters, It's "La-La Land Crafts"Inspirational Monday" . 

Today is also a "Goodbye" as it's my last day as a Design Team girl  for La La Lands having decided it's time to step down and move on. I have had  the opportunity to meet and create along some incredibly talented girls and made some wonderful friendships, thankyou girls!

Happy Holidays

Hi there, I don't normally find time to create a card just for fun but with my DD and grandkids away this past 10 days- (holidaying in Phuket) I have found myself  having more spare time to spend  in the craft room...

I just love the combination of Evergreen Bough and Iced Spruce Distress Inks..great Christmas Colours.

 My background was created using  Iced Spruce,Acrylic block and water, a technique I do quite often to make my own background paper. Evergreen Bough was used as my backing paper. 

I saw a similar tree on a card at my local new agency so wondered if I could create one..

When looking thru my stash of stamps I found I had no basic tree trunk stamp- I know I'm surprised too-- for  those of you who know my stamp collection., lol...So I made my own cutting a piece off  an acrylic stamp that had extra around it and cut it into a shape of a trunk and stamped with Black Versafine Ink. 

The little stamped circles used to form my tree came from a Neat and Tangled Stamp set called Party Dots... this stamp set is soooo well used., a Memory Box Die for my Star, Sequins and Gems and a little Copic Colouring along with a little strip of silver glitter paper finished it off... 

I am entering this card into a new Stamp Company I have just found  (love the stamps) and Challenge Blog called..

I am soooo excited to share with you all that I now get to play and create with these wonderful images every fortnight as a Team Yumi DT girl...and along side a very creative group of girls...wooo hoooo 

I have loved these images for such along time,, who can resist the adorable faces they have.. not me.....

I made a Gift bag with a Tag that you can remove from a  cut slit in the bag itself and a matching little Pillow Box. 
I used   Christmas Ornament Luka  , Open Leaf Flourish  , Pretty Poinsettia Die  String of Hearts Border Die and  Christmas Tree Die .   
Tuffy is stamped onto patterned paper.

Inspiration Monday- More then 1 Fold

 It's "La-La Land Crafts"Inspirational Monday" and this week the theme to inspire you is

MORE THEN 1 FOLD

I made a little cupcake using  Pretty Poinsettia Die , Butterflies Set 1 and  Lotus Die and I think the folds in the cupcake wrapper definitely cover the more the more then 1 fold  lol...
I used nearly 2 sheets of 12x12 double sided patterned paper for the flowers and the leaves and then gave them a generous spray of gold glimmer spray.

Sparkle....

 Hi there again.. I have 2 cards to share with you today using ..

Memory Box Dies -  Precious Stars from Bizzy Bec's Online Store- HERE... 

I went for an ombre effect using paint chips card samples from my local Hardware store...In both cards I removed the bow part at the top of the Precious Star Die, left some with the little string part attached and others cut it away completely. I then used my machine to add the stitching... a few sequins and a sentiment stamp.
