Happy Birthday Vicki

Todays card is for STAMPlorations DT girl Vicki whose birthday was on Thursday and we all  decided to surprise her with a delayed blog post birthday celebration.

 I chose this card of Vicki's to case ( see below). I loved the colours and layout Vicki used on her gorgeous card, so bright and cheery.

I used stamps from STAMPlorations....the butterfly from Vignette Artful Flutters and the  sentiment is from Vignette Trendy Feathers .

 Die is the Gerbera flower from MFT.

STAMPlorations Sketch #12

We've a new sketch challenge for you at STAMPlorations and the guest designer for this challenge is Debbie aka Indy.

I created the flowers by first masking off a circle in the centre and then using one of the brush stroke stamps from Holiday Artsy I stamped around the circle.

Hi there, firstly I want to wish all the wonderful Mum’s out there a very Happy Mothers Day today and that you have a lovely day whatever you have planned and are truly spoilt and loved.

We are going off to the Zoo today, my mum, daughter, granddaughter and great grandchildren...so fingers crossed the weather plays nice for us all.....

Now onto my card...There is something about this little frog "Freckles"  with it's quirky grin that brings a smile to my face every time I stamp it up...

I teamed Freckles up with Blossoming Perch and Hush- butterfly all designed by Stacey Yacula.

I used Joey, Scattered Flowers and Tree Line.

I even stamped, coloured  and fussy cut out some extra little flowers to place on my card to add some dimension.

We have a nice easy sketch for you. I have altered the sketch some what and moved the sentiment -die cut to the top of my card.

 The machine stitching and little hearts represent the rectangle and the feathers the 3 tabs.
