Inspirational Monday - Love...

Hi fellow Crafters, It's "La-La Land Crafts"Inspirational Monday" and this week the theme to inspire you is

 LOVE is all AROUND

On my card I used  SWEETHEART MARCI  and HEART BANNER DIE.
The Heart Banner along with sentiment strip , extra heart and the frame behind my image was cut out on Paint Chips from a Hardware store... If you haven't yet tried these out you must.. They are a great weight and have fab colours.. My hubby just shakes his head when I come home with , mmmmm, let's just say a few each time... Also dont be put off by the writing on them.. This is easily removed with an Eraser and a little effort.

Bizzy Becs - Friendship

                    Hi Everyone,  cant believe my school holidays have come to an end and its back to school for this little black duck tomorrow...ok.... I do only work 1 day a week with the little munchkins in Kindy but even that 1 day does cut into my schedule, lol..

There will most likely be lots of tears ( no not from me) from the kiddies and so lots of hugs and reassurance will be needed......for both mum and kiddies...

Well today is the 5th so that means its time for a New Challenge this month over at  Bizzy Becs Challenge Blog.

          The theme for this month is  FRIENDSHIP ... chosen by dt gal Michelle.

        I have used one of the NEW Magnolia Images on my card called "TILDA with DOT BOW" and is available at Bizzy Bec’s Online Store …HERE.

I placed her on another older Magnolia Image- GRAND PIANO- love this stamp- The quote for Friendship I found from a little craft store close by and I added some Washi tape of course.

La-La Land Crafts- NEW Release Day....

Hi there everyone... Do we have a special treat for you .....

Today is a NEW release day of  Images and Dies at La-La Land Crafts Store.

I used ARTIST MARCI and BIRD CAGE DIE  and can you see that fancy edge on my card... that is another La-La Land Die -FANCY BRACKET -set of 4, fantastic aren't they.

My miniature Luka on the art easel- was created/ shrunk through word, cut out and glued onto the canvas. I paper pieced her hat ,added some Machine stitching  along with some twine, a charm and small button.

The NEW  Images  and Dies are available NOW!!!!  The Shadow boxes will begin Shipping mid February

Bizzy Becs Challenge - Fun in the Sun...

Hi Everyone, Happy New Year and Welcome.

 It’s time for the first of  New Challenges planned for 2013 over at Bizzy Bec's Challenge Blog.

The theme this month is

"FUN in the SUN" theme by DT gal Suzanne.

Considering the extreme heat.. (its been HOT) we have had over here in Perth  in the last week this was just so appropriate...
I used Magnolia Stamps - Tilda off Shore, Rescue Tower and Pelican.
I masked the images to create my scene and after colouring the Images, Sand and Sea I then used the same masks and my air compresser with a cloud template to colour the sky.
I then used the Memory Box Die- Swaying Palm available at Bizzy Bec's along with little Miss Muffet Banner Die and La-La Land Crafts Sun and Grass Die.

Of course Tilda needed some glitter on shoes... What girl would'nt!!!
