Bizzy Becs...sending you..

Hi there, popping in with a reminder card for Bizzy Bec's Challenges. 

I used the super cute Lawn Fawn Stamps set called  Monster Mash  and MFT Die

 I coloured the Little Monsters with Copic Markers and placed them behind the  "Peek a Boo Circle Windows Die" from My Favourite Things..

The background piece is coloured with various Distress Inks onto watercolour Paper.

Bizzy Becs..i ruff you

Hey there ,today starts the a new challenge  for the month February over at...
   Bizzy Bec's Challenges.

I used Lawn Fawn - Critters at the Dog Park- Stamps and Matching Dies.

Super cute, cute, cute is the only way to describe this stamp set....

I coloured the little doggie with Copic markers and use the die to cut it out.. makes life so much easier when you don't need to fussy cut out the images..

 

Now onto the background , this was a technique by Kristina Werner shown on the Online Card Class- clean and Simple. I used Distress Inks in 3 different shades of blues to give that ombre effect.. I love this technique and will definitely do a few more of these backgrounds...

Purple Onion Designs...Cherished

Hi there, Isn't this image so adorable from Purple Onion Designs

This is Olive from the stamp called Olive and Sam
I coloured Olive with copics, fussy cut her out and placed her behind a peek a boo window from MFT.
The background paper is Distress inks, a stencil and watercolour paper.

CASEplorations...

Hi there, and welcome... Todays card is all about CASING..

On the 1st of each month the girls from STAMPlorations are having some crafty fun - Since we are going to be inspiring you to play with your stamps, CASEing our creations, we decided we should do some CASEing too. So on the first of every month you will see this feature, a CASEplorations post, where some of the STAMPlorations DT girls CASE a card and share it with you. You never know - it might even be your card we choose to CASE!

 WHAT is CASING!!!

 Ok, as explained to me recently by the gorgeous Maria F.."CASE"- literally - copy!!! although you don't have to follow exactly everything on the card.

Look at the card and notice the elements.

 In Julie's card: cupcake, pink, lot of white, gold metallic thread, banner sentiment, black, splatters, doodles. And go with some of those elements or all of them... up to YOU!

 

Today is all about casing the amazing the JULIE EBERSOLE
of "Hello, Monday" fame over at the Ellen Hutson Classroom.
 

What I did, saw,cased........ I used the Pink, Gold and Black colour palette as Julie did on her card and left lots of white space...
Instead of gold twine I chose to use a Die Cut from Gold Card and

I used my favourite go too stamp from STAMPlorations---Sketched: Cupcake

STAMPlorations NEW RELEASE STAMPS Day 4

Welcome to DAY 4 of the NEW RELEASE IMAGES over at STAMPLORATIONS....

the SPOTLIGHT is on......
The Bee's Knees Newlyweds Extras and Sentiment Builders: Love

   
I stamped the word LOVE in Black ink and then using a pink and orange ink I stamped the hearts.
I drew a line from the word to the hearts with a fine liner pen.
The outline with a light black shadow around the stamp is a happy accident... I had stamped the hearts with black ink onto a another card and obviously hadn't cleaned the stamp properly- sacrilege I know... and when I stamped the pink heart I liked how it gave a shadow effect.. so I then stamped the heart in black each time stamping off before inking up in the pink and orange inks...
I added gold and black ink spatters and sequins finished my card.

Spotlight today is on....

 

Bold Sentiments: Hashtag Authentic

I water coloured the background using Distress Ink Broken China and then embossed the Hashtag Sentiments with White Embossing Powder

The little spots/circles you see on the background are from one of other the NEW stamp sets " Newlyweds".

I used the reverse side of the small circle to stamp a solid image and the tuned it back over to the right side to stamp again.

STAMPlorations NEW STAMPS- DAY1...

 The Bee's Knees: Houses

... I just adore these Houses...

I stamped and masked the houses onto watercolour paper to create my line of houses.

Then using only yellow and green Distress inks I coloured only the top part of the images for something different....

The background was also watercoloured using the same range of colour ink on the houses.....

I added a little washi tape, die cut sun and the sentiment..

Purple Onion Designs.. celebrate

Hi there,todays card features another one of the stamps from  Mixed Drinks  stamp set from..

  Purple Onion Designs 
I masked the glass and then used a brick stencil and lightly sponged with Distress ink.
The image was coloured with Copics, the word sentiment was placed on a die cut banner and a couple of sequins were then added to the card.
