Tags, I love the size of them and by adding in so many different elements to them they are just so interesting.

Todays Tag is made by using a #8 size tag,a Stamp it postcard stamp- could not resisit this one as its address is West Australia, so appropriate,  calender stamp( sorry not sure where it came from) hand stamp- love this and you will be seeing more of this one,lace, Bling flourish from Bizzy Becs,  Magnolia Image- coloured with E93, E95 and Skin tones E00, E00, E11 and E93 for cheeks for a change of colour, and the piece to resistance the

Happy Times-My Butterfly Friend.

Well sadly all good things must come to an end as today is the last preview day for 

Bizzy Bec's Blue Butterfly Collection,

I have used Kaiser Paper called Hey Birdie, I have cut out extra trees and flowers and added them to the paper. I  then added a few buttons , butterflys, MS grass punch ,Banner and some stickles to complete my card.

I have enjoyed showing you these images and I look forward to seeing some of your card creations with these fabulous images.

with Wings-Bella on Swing

Day 5 and the fun continues with the fabulous new Blue Butterfly Collection,

and today we have "BELLA ON A SWING" for you.

I have used Tim Holtz birdcage for Bella, some pretty beads I found in my stash, Websters papers, Bizzy Becs Gorgeous flowers, Stickles, Lace and MS vine punch.

Its a little hard to see but after I coloured in her wings I used a scrap of  burlap/hessian and Blender to give some patterned texture to her wings.

I decided to try a monochromatic look with this gal and let the image speak for herself.

 I used Copic Markers W0 to W7 and a little Y00 on the Teddy. The hearts are a MS punch and that  love stamp down beside her is Magnolia. Now remember to POP on over HERE to Bizzy Becs blog as Bec is  being very generous in some wonderful prizes to some lucky winners.

Happily Ever After-Roses, Roses

Welcome to day 3 of the Fabulous new Image releases from Bizzy Bec's Blue Butterfly range.

Roses, Roses is this lil gals  name and isn't she sooooo cute.

She looks like a princess going to the ball and of course she needed a carriage to go in.

 I used the new Kasier paper called Magic Happens collection, some hearts and of course some glitter,  lace and ribbon.

Images coloured with Copic Markers-I forgot to write down the colours but im pretty sure they are B00 - B05 and BV00 to BV04.

The carriage is a digi download from Zoe at Make it Crafty.

off to Grandma's-Strawberry Basket

It's day 2 of Bizzy Bec's Fabulous new collection of Images from her exclusive Blue Butterfly range.....

and I would love you to meet

 Strawberry Basket.

When I saw this lil gal I immedietly thought of Red Riding Hood on her way to Visit her Grandma's with her basket of goodies. I know I am a little strange in my thinking sometimes. lol.....

.....anyway, I stamped up the Magnolia House's onto DP paper, a cupcake cake wrapper was used for the road/fence, words were computer generated and placed onto a Magnolia stamp sign,a  twiddly bitz tree( thankyou Debbie P) and coloured with copics R24 to R29 with E37 for shading.

Ok onto my Card. This fabulous image is called

 "CUPCAKE FAIRY".

I decided on a Hearts shape card for her and I printed the image onto Brown Paper and then very lightly coloured my image with Prisma pencils.I used stickles for her wings in various colours and of course added lots of extras....Lace, flowers,etc.....with Distress inks sponged around the edges of the card.

Dreamer

A few years ago I was totally addicted to making ATC's.I attended a workshop every weekend where we would do all these techniques for some amazing backgrounds before we created our little mini works of art.

 I really loved the confined area you had to create with and so lately I have taken to creating on tags much for the same reason.

 This tag has a few embellies on it from Tim Holtz Spooky tree die( love it) Magnolia Houses,Cuttelbug sun die, Collections bird and mini keyhole tags, lace,stamped clock onto acetate and I have even started using again after sooooo long my Fastener -( found it hidden in one of my craft drawers)-thats the little gold staple thingy holding my ribbon on at the top.

The image is a Hanglar Stanglar, coloured using E04, E08, E09 and E50, E51 and E53.

I was sooo very excited when my new Magnolia stamps from the latest collection " You Are So Special 2011"- arrived thru the mail from HERE at Bizzy Becs.

I have used the Balloon Backgound Stamp, Loving Border and of course this cutie called Tilda with Big Ribbon, isn't she sweet!!!!!

After a bit of playing this is the card I came up with. The present is an older Magnolia stamp that I just love and use often, I also stamped the balloons twice and then cut them out and then added dimensional magic over the top. The strings are red embroidery Cotton and I have used my Heart nesties behind it all.The paper is from the New Kaiser Collection but this only comes in 12 x 12 size plus   Red glitter cardstock for the  Cuttlebug hearts.The paper lace is German Scrap.

 I decided to stick with the usual Valentine colours of red and White/cream but add a touch of brown.

 Images coloured with Copics- R24-R29 with E37 for depth. E50-E55 for her dress. E44, 43 and E41 for her hair. Spica pens- Chocolate and Sand and Blender"0". Dimensional Magic and embroidery cotton for the balloons.

Keep close to my heart

I love days were after the menial housework is done and dusted that I sit down , put on a movie and craft. Oh bliss!!! and Yes u are seeing right the calender is for next year as I did not get one completed for this year so I'm making  this in advance.LOL... I do a page for each month and 'Im up to May as u can see. This image is Sugar Nellie digi-Verity. I  have made the tag the focal point on my card and added elements around it.

Coloured with Copics, Distressed with Frayed Burlap, Stickles Platinum, Cuttlebug Hearts, Stampin up Punch and Basic grey paper pack 6x6.

Gidget?

Hi Everyone,

I am a posting this a few hours early  but it's pretty close to the 5th of the Month, and we all know what that time is.

YES  it's time again for 

February's Challenge over at Bizzy Becs, HERE.

The challenge is a fabulous sketch for you to play along with and Bec has a fabulous prize on offer once again for one lucky winner.

I really enjoyed paying with this sketch so much so that I couldn't resist making 2 cards

My first card here was sorta based around the old "Gidget" movies  because this girl reminds me of her, OK....hands up if  anyone does remember those old movies!!!!

I remember that there was one called "Gidget goes Hawaiian".

I made the background thru my Adobe photoshop, a bit of twine, a palm tree and some flowers were used to complete the card.

 My second card uses the Bizzy Becs Digi  Ticket Sentiment and Bizzy Becs Music Sheet Downloads along with a Tim Holtz die, Magnolia Love words stamp and Stickles glitter.

I love it when I receive "new" goodies thru the post and then have free time to play with them makes it soooo much better. Magnolia Tilda is from the New "You are Special Collection and  theWOJ pennent die all came from HERE at Bizzy Becs.

The tree is  Tim Holtz Spooky tree,  by painting it with Pink distress crackle I have a tree that I can use anytime.

I then thought to add a "Crochet Doily" behind it  for the foliage and now I have a lovely tree,

 OK I think so anyway,LOL.... some  punched out some hearts and my tree is complete.Of course  no card can be without some glitter to make it sparkle. I just love adding glitter to my cards, but im sure you have noticed that , bahahaha.
