Hi everyone, do you ever have one of those days where its tooo cold to go outside or literally to cold to do anything at all except turn on the heat and watch a good movie., well I had one of those days on Monday and being the person I am I cant just sit so I had this idea about making something to go in my family room and thought what better then making a picture frame using the gorgeous
from La La Land Crafts...
So out came my Bigshot, Butterfly die, Chosen paper and off I started....
The dies cut beautifully and the hardest part was measuring/placing the 30 Butterflys out on the 12 x 12 bazzill page to evenly space them.
I am really happy with the result and it looks so much better in real life- ( it is always hard to get a good pic thru glass) but the colours of cream, red, brown and black look great and the wings are up off the page.
I gave each butterfly a different coloured hearts centre as I wanted the little heart to stand out from the butterfly.
I have found the perfect spot for it on my cupboard with all my other photos, so if you have this Butterfly die, why not give it ago and make your own frame.
Thanks For Stopping By and Have Yourself a Great Day.xxx
This is gorgeous and such a brilliant idea. Will definitely have to give it a go. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love your card and I wish I could say it was too cold here!! We are having a heat wave and it's already 98 degrees outside and expected to get to 100 by the weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo, I will just play away with my crafting ideas.
Gorgoeus Debra! I must check out the La-La Land dies; they look awesome. Hugs, kelly xxx
