STAMPlorations Sketch #6

Hi there, time for Sketch Challenge #6 at STAMPlorations Challenge Blog.

I used Retro Mod Shapes and Artful Flutters 

to create my tag .

I first drew a shaped line with a black pen  and stamped the leaves ( retro shapes stamp)  along the line . I  coloured the leaves with Copics and then fussy cut them out.

I love how these stamps can be used so many different ways,  your imagination can run wild, lol..

Hey There everyone..... got to have a play in my craftroom  just for fun today...... pretty rare occasion for me but I'm determined that the Stamps and Dies that I have from MFT are finally going to see the light of day...

I followed the sketch below to create a card for this Weeks Card Sketch #162 over on the My Favorite Things Blog... 

I had some fun with some watercolouring, vellum and of course the MFT Dies and Stamps

STAMPLorations.. February Challenge, HELLO!.

This months challenge over at the Stamplorations Blog is all about..
STAMPS and STITCHES.

 I used the VIGNETTE- OLD TYPE

I love this stamp set...I inked up my typewriter stamp with  Archival"Aquamarine" Ink to match the exact same "colour" of  my own little typewriter that  I was lucky enough to purchase last year on ebay..... an old Chevron one, and in such good condition and I  used it to type the words "how are you"!

I used the HELLO word stamp that come with the stamp set to create the background for my card.

A little machine stitching, some silver thread, circle of vellum and some hearts finished off my card.

Hi There, I have really taken a shine to using texture paste and stencils- such a fabulous effect.

I used Memory Box Dies...Grove Branch and Resting Birds. 

 I cut the Grove Branch from card coloured with Distress Inks and the little birds were cut from black card and placed over a vellum heart. 

 My sentiment is a mix of a couple of older stamps..

Bizzy Becs has a wonderful range of Memory box dies so pop on over to the store... So many to choose from...

Bizzy Becs- February Challenge.

"LOVE/FRIENDSHIP"....... 

is the February Challenge theme over at Bizzy Becs Challenge Blog.  

I have used Darkroom Door Stamps- Full Bloom Vol 1 to create my card. 

The background was created by stamping a text stamp and dotted stamp onto my card- I then added some Gesso over it to dull it down a little.

I then stamped the rose image 3 times- fussy cut it out and added them all to my card with a little twine and a punched heart.

STAMPlorations- Challenge Sketch #5.

Hi There, its February Sketch challenge #5  time over at STAMPlorations .

 For today's card I have used....

ECLECTIC FLORALS- 

one of the latest New Releases... on my card.

I stamped the images the Flowers and Leaves from the set with Memento ink, a little bit of masking was required for the stamps to sit behind the flowers. 

I coloured the flowers in with various colours with  my Copic markers, as well as gave the leaves some veins with my copics as well. I used sequins and little black beads for the centre of my flowers.

 Each fortnight on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month there will be a sketch provided for you to work with.

This is free and open to interpretation, you can change the orientation, add other elements etc...

Happy Birthday Girlfriend...

Hi there... just sharing a card I gave today to a really lovely friend  "Karen"  for her birthday next week.

Happy Birthday Karen, hope you have a FABULOUS DAY!

It was craft fun play day today and Karen brought along her home made yummy cake to share with all 8 of us..a dollop of cream on the top.... talk about Delish, mmm, mmmm.

OK back to my card, I  used a Yumi and Fumi stamp ( Summer Yumi) on my card along with Joffy Stamps. I went for a mixed media look with Distress inks, paper peicing  and  gesso all on old book paper..
