On my card I used HEART BALLOON LUKA along with HEART  FENCE DIE, STITCHED TAB DIE and CLOUD/SUN and ISLAND DIE.
I paper pieced the balloons after printing off some extra ones for LUKA. My background was made with distress inks.

 Hi there, I have been trying my hand lately at producing some quite Clean and Simple cards and so when my Neat and Tangled stamps arrived in the post today I just had to have a play with them. 

So I thought why not enter the Neat and Tangled Challenge , off I went and only after creating my card and added all 3 colours only to then see that it says use "2" of the colours, but oh well will enter it anyways,hope it will be allowed- note to self.... read challenge theme better, lol...

I used my 2 new stamps to make my card...On the Strip 2 and Party Dots Stamps plus the Free Digi Stamp.

I coloured the bird with Tombow Markers on an acrylic block spritzed with water.

The challenge over at Bizzy Bec's for May is Purple and Bling.

I used 2 Memory Box Dies...Chloe Stems and Nesting Birds and some sequins for my bling -although they are a little hard to see on my card. 

I have recently seen this technique of stamping on both card and letters around blog land and had to give it ago.

The prize for May is a Trip-Boss  Embossing Folder- Ticket Stubs.

Bizzy Bec's May Challenge- Purple and Bling

Today marks the end of school holidays for us here is the West but the weather has been perfect for getting outside with the grandies and going  to the local duck park and soaking up  what may be the last of the sunny warm days for a while... winter is approaching, NO!!!!!!!

Well on to todays card for a New Challenge this month over at
    Bizzy Becs Challenge Blog.

          The theme for this month is PURPLE and add some BLING, theme by DT gal Sally.. this is her fave colour ...

               I have used Magnolia Image- Tilda with Love along with a Memory Box Die- Charlotte Border, it's there trust me but a little hard to see, I should of put another colour underneath it to make it stand out!
I also added some washi tape, DP paper, ribbon and some rhinestones for my bling. 
There is a fabulous Tri-Boss Embossing Folder- Ticket stubs up for grabs as the prize  for the winner.

Inspirational Monday...

Hi fellow Crafters, It's time for another  "La-La Land Crafts"Inspirational Monday".

This week we are using BUTTONS and BOWS to inspire you.

Today's card focuses on the fabulous Dies from La-La Land Crafts.
 I used LOTUS DIE and the LARGE FLOURISH DIE.
The flowers, leaves and background paper were created with my rediscovered old Tombow and Stampin up markers that have long been sitting in a box at the back of the cupboard. 
My bow was also coloured with these markers.
Had such a fabulous time getting inky with these so you will be seeing more backgrounds using these pens, such a different result to Distress Inks.

Hi there, I have recently found a new challenge called Runway Inspired Challenge- love how they decide on their challenges, and so finding some time on my hands with school holidays decided to create a card.

This is the picture- ( isn't this dress to die for!) that you base your card on. I  stamped my image up the side of my white card as in the pattern in her dress and  added different size black butterflies. The red butterfly is  because of the lipstick on the model. No colouring at all on this image and I couldn't possibly tell you how many goes I had to try to get this right, lol...

La-La Land Inspirational Monday- Distressing

Hi there everyone, It's "La-La Land Crafts"Inspirational Monday" and this week the theme to inspire you is

" DISTRESSED"

On my card I used  Sitting Luka  

 along with Cloud, Sun and Island Set Dies  and  Fancy Bracket Die.

There is something about Sitting Luka that has me reaching for him when ever I think of Boy cards, maybe its the cap as ever since he was a teenager (a while ago now)  its been my son Ryan's favourite attire.. 
I also used both parts of the fancy bracket die on my card by reversing it around when placing on my card.

Todays card is quite simple in design and that all you need sometimes are great dies to look effective. I used Butterflies Set 1 Dies  and String of Hearts Border Die along with a large background text stamp, a doily and a a few other shapes.
