STAMPlorations Sketch #26

Hi there, here is the Sketch  for Challenge #26 this month at  STAMPlorations Challenge

Nice easy sketch for you to play along with.

 I used the 2 stamp sets- 

Sentiment Builders- Celebrate and Sketched Cupcake
I used a stencil and gesso mixed with some gold paint for my chevron pattern down the side of card base coloured with Picked Rasberry Distress Ink. I then stamped on vellum and embossed in white both the cake and word. I added a twine bow, dymo label, a punched heart  and some sequins.

Purple Onion Designs..Lets Celebrate

Hi there, todays card features Mixed Drinks stamps from Purple Onion Designs

I stamped the glasses onto silver foil card using Staz on Black Ink and fussy cut them out. Then using the little bubbles I stamped these randomly around the glasses using silver and gold ink. Stamp the sentiment and then add in some sequins and card is done.

A nice CAS card but looks pretty in RL with all the shimmer.

Hi, I'm back with another card Paper Smooches Picture Perfect Challenge.

This card is based on one of those ideas that come to you in the middle of the night and you just have to get up and write/draw the idea down b4 you forget it!

So using the picture below for inspiration I used the PS Stamp Sets- Calico (flowers and Leaves),Uplifters ( Sentiment), Hooties ( branch) and Fascinators ( oval)

I used memento Inks, Black, Toffee Crunch, Desert Sand and Grey Flannel to stamp all the images. 

I used the  large tree branch on the stamp Set "Hooties" and masked it to create the vase.

I gave some colour to the images with my copic markers and added some depth with a chalk pencil...

Hi, I'm  really enjoying playing along with Paper Smooches Challenges at the moment, and I have been lucky enough to be one of the 2  Featured Players for both of my last 2 cards... Thankyou Paper Smooches.

So using the picture below for inspiration I used the PS Stamp Sets- Calico (flowers and Leaves) and Uplifters ( Sentiment).

I stamped the flowers with Brilliance Gold ink, the centre with a lighter brown ink and a darker ink for the spots in the centre.

The leaves were stamped with Desert Sand Memento Ink and then coloured with W3 and W1 Copic markers to give some colour to the leaves but not so the pattern on the leaves was lost.

Sentiment was stamped in Black Ink. I wish you could see this in RL as the gold shimmer on the flowers is gorgeous.

Purple Onion Designs...Love the...

Hi there, Sharing a card today for  Purple Onion Designs 
using Mixed Middle Flowers
I stamped only the flower repeatedly, masked and then stamped the leaf all onto watercolour paper.
I coloured these in with my old, and I mean old Tombow markers... Just loving these markers at the moment- so bright a colour!!! and they just seem to never run or dry out. Might need to invest in some more, lol...
The sentiment stamp is from MFT.

Hi there, been having a bit of extra time to play and try out some ideas for cards...I coloured the Paper Smooches' Stamp- Blossoming Buds in Monochromatic shades using my Copic Markers E's and left one flower to spotlight. I gave this flower just a hint of colour.

I used an ink and lightly sponged the base card and although its a little hard to see I also stamped a script stamp with 2nd generation stamping.

A very clean and simple card with the emphasis being on the flower.

Anything Goes Week 1 is the challenge over at Paper Smooches.

Hi, just sharing a card today using some Lawn Fawn Stamps and Dies-

Balloons are from...  "Admit One"

Little Bows are from.."Monster Mash"

and alphabet is "Quinns abc - stamps and matching die.

I did a watercolour wash for the Background with Distress Ink, Peacock Feather.
The letters have been stamped onto water colour paper and coloured with Tombow Markers..

STAMPlorations Sketch #25

Hi there, here is the sketch for Challenge #25 over at  STAMPlorations Challenge
A nice easy one to follow and play along with.

 I used Trendy Leaves today on my card.

I stamped the leaves with Distress Ink and coloured with my Copics plus a little fussy cutting. A little hard to see but I cut down each leaf so I could crumple them lightly with my fingers to give some depth. I then sponged the edges again of each leaf using a darker Distress Ink.
A banner, gold foil word, a few sequins and distress ink background stamp completed the card.

Bizzy Becs.. Happy New year..

Hey there , its time for the very first challenge for 2015 at  Bizzy Bec's Challenges.

I used Lawn Fawn - QUINNS ABC and MONSTER MASH - Stamps and Matching Dies.

I got out my old Tombow Markers to colour the letterring- forgot how vibrant these pens are, my new latest love, lol..

I stamped up the background using the grid stamp from MFT with a light grey ink.. I used an uneven pressure so as not to have an even stamping.

STAMPlorations January Challenge



Hi there,we are starting off the beginning of 2015 at  STAMPlorations Challenge with a nice easy theme... Stamps and Inks.

 Using the stamps..Sketched Cupcake and Sentiment Builders- Celebrate , I used Versamark and White embossing Powder to stamp the word Celebrate 5 times and the cupcake was also inked and embossed on Vellum and fussy cut out!  I used Evergreen Bough Distress Ink to give a light background wash and added a little deeper ink colour to some areas of the lettering.
I die cut out the word Today and candles from silver foil card.
