Hi there, Just wanted to share some fun I had in my craft room a liitle while ago but had not got around to sharing. 

I used Gesso, Stamps, Mod Podge , Gellatos, Big Brush Pens , Washi tape and of course .....

Julie Nuttings Mixed Media Doll Stamps, which of course I had to have all of them because I  just knew if I left one off the shopping list I would need/ want / must have it at a later date anyway...

I created my background for this gorgeous new image using  various Distress Inks, Masking, Stamping, Airbrushing and some Stickles for that added glimmer.

On my card below I used..

Taiko Drum Luka, Bridge Die, Stitched Tab Die and Cloud-Sun and Island Set Die

The Background was made using Distress Ink Markers and Stamps.

You make me Smile

Hi Everyone, Hope you had a great weekend. Weather was perfect here in the West, sunshine and lots of it- no rain insight for a while still, and we so desperately need it.

Anyways, Just a quick and simple card from me today using 3 Memory Box Dies -

 Puffy Clouds,Spring Border and Meadow Bird.

I  placed inside a Polaroid frame Die, added a quote and Oh, Yes and of course I did have to add some washi tape.

Inspirational Monday- Kraft, White and 1

Hi fellow Crafters, It's "La-La Land Crafts"Inspirational Monday" and this week the theme to inspire you is

 "Kraft, White  and 1 other colour"

On my card I used Watercan Marci  along with Fancy Bracket Die, Large Flourish Die and Lotus Die.

 Watercan Marci was stamped with Versamark ink with Black Embossing Powder on the Kraft Card and also stamped on white blending card, coloured in the parts I wanted and then fussy cut out and paper pieced onto my main card. The white is my gel pen.

I removed all the leaves except one from the Flourish Die( will use them another time) to make my flower stem for my flower. All in all this is was a easy card to create.

oh so cute!.....

 Hi Everyone.. just popping in with a card I made using one of the Newer Magnolia Images- Tilda with Heart Socks and one of my many, many memory Box Dies- this one is called Precious Hearts.

I made my long flag on the side from various Washi tapes, adhered to cardstock and then cut to desired size and length and borderd with red cardstock.

There is something about red , white and black together that just always has that wow look to it, regardless of what you do, dont you think!

Inspirational Monday- Special Lady

Hi fellow Crafters, It's "La-La Land Crafts"Inspirational Monday" and this week the theme to inspire you is

 SPECIAL LADY

On my card I used FANCY MARCI  and FILIGREE CORNER DIE.
I created my background paper with Aquatone Watercolour Crayons , taking the colour from the crayon with a very wet paintbrush and pouncing it on to the Watercolour Paper. I then die cut out 2  Filigree corner dies from extra paper to create the butterfly...( thanks Alyce)
I  just love these Aquatone crayons... The colour intesity is fantastic...
The  fabulous quote stamp I used is Stampers Anonymous.
I also used some W5 to Fancy MARCI to give her some depth and finished with a little machine stitching.
