You complete me!

Its seems ages since I played with a Magnolia image but this little Tilda with bunny was unresisitable.Even though Easter is gone for another year I just knew I could use this image anytime for any reason.

The Ticket Tag with sentiment along with the gorgeous Pink flowers, Pink Tassle and of course my little Magnolia Tilda all came from Bec over at Bizzy Becs Online store.

Lace, Ribbon and leaf punch is from my stash.

One Rainy Day!

Happy Easter everyone, I do hope you have all managed to have a good chocolate fix this weekend!!!

When I saw  Easter Tilly  from Simply Betty Stamps I just had to have her, the eyes got me straight away.I have also been playing around with lots of Tim Holtz backgrounds , hence all the tags lately and this one was done with old book paper, gesso, distress inks and then Distress ink refills and letting them drip from the top of the page, then adding some glitter to the whole tag. I'm am really enjoying getting my hands dirty and just playing with lots of mediums.

 I used the W"s and C's copic range to colour Tilly - #'s 1-5. I also used a white gel pen.The skyline/buildings background has to be one of my all time favourites, I use it for everything, best stamp I ever purchased.I also used Tim holtz film strip for the path.

 OK...... Have you noticed my Blog header, the Fabulously talented Kristy from "Some Odd Girl Stamps"  created my very own "Me" Avatar/Chibi  from the real pic of me on my sidebar.....is she clever or what!..I am in total awe of what she can do, ohhhhh to have some of that talent!!!!.I saw the fabulous Chibi that Kristy had created for Kellie and just knew I had to get Kristy to draw one up for me as well.

I am so thrilled with what she has created , so much better then the real me- no wrinkles!!!! From now on the only pic I am going to use is my Chibi, bahahahaha.Thanks Kristy.

Giggle

I have had this tag made for a while but somehow it was put away and I had forgotten it, sometime life gets sooooo busy that things can get overlooked, ok thats my story and I am sticking to it, as no way do I have memory loss!!!!

 Im not sure if I have said but we are in the process of building a new home that seems to have taken for ever, just under12 months to be exact and prob 6 months before that with plans and alterations but we are getting so close now its becoming really exciting. Having not built for ages I had forgotten just what needs to be done, colours, tiles, cupboards etc... you know all the rest of it..BUT... the most exciting thing about my new house is I have my very own Craft Room , wooo hooooo!!!. No more of my little space, the bar area in the lounge , yep I turfed out all the wine bottles and glasses and took it over as my crafting space, poor hubby. It is a small area but it has been convienent.

Besides Greg can now sit upstairs on the balcony at the back of the house and enjoy his wine watching the sunset over the ocean, I think that makes up for me taking over the bar in this house, bahahaha.

This week the tiler begins the floors inside, the paved driveway and path and all the the area out the back starts soon and then the final coats of paint go on, outside and inside, countdown begins.....may be in within 4 to 6 weeks time....

Anyways back to my tag, the image is a  Teddy Bo digi download and I have a few of these delightful images now, so cute...

One of a Kind!

This  is School girl Crystal from the new Miss Cherry Martini Colllection over at Bizzy Becs.

 I love this girl and the last time I coloured and made a card with her was touching on the a little of the Dark side, so this time I just wanted to show  how different she looks when coloured in pretty Pink Shades.

I also made the DP backround paper using a Page from a childrens book, some gesso and Distress Inks. The challenge on Bizzy Becs Blog is to create your own DP paper so if you have yet entered then you still have a little time to go.

I used a sizzix star die and stamped a word stamp over, a Tim Holtz Paper clip and some german scrap.

Recipe for a Friend

Well the end of another week and I am on the countdown till the school holidays. This term is a 12 week term and everyone, especially the kids need a break.

My tag today is  made using one of the Fabulous New Digiial Images from Bizzy Becs from

The DAISY COLLECTION.

I used the new Kaiser Paper Pack -Nans favourite and Basic grey- Nook and Pantry.The recipe I found on the internet. Copic skin colours I use are E00 and E11 and E93.

I decided to make a Friend tag with this gal, I sure you like me all have one of those very special friends who no matter what are always there for you, someone you can always have a laugh with, talk with, share with, shop with, create with and well generally be a very BFF, and that would be my friend Lorraine, Thanks Loz for always being there for me,xxx

A busy day tomoz as I have another Full house tomorrow with the Copic classes I teach, The group of girls are just gorgeous and wonderful to teach, we have so much fun!!!! They are all so enthusiastic and like me look forward to the fortnightly classes.This week we are learning how to add that SHINE!!!

April Challenge- Bizzy Becs.

It's the 5th of the Month and time for another fun challenge over at Bizzy Becs.
The challenge this month is to make/design your own background paper.

I chose to use my Adobe photoshop Elements 9 and create a a bedroom adding layer after layer. I must say I really enjoyed creating my own scene,took a little time but I was pretty happy with the final result. Of course you dont need to do what I have done, you can use any technique you desire to create your DP paper, you may choose stamping, airbrushing, anything at all, we are  looking forward to seeing what u create.
